At the Sloan Program in Health Administration, I found a place that encouraged me to cast a wide net on my career pursuits. I have been able to connect with several industry executives across the spectrum. It is a daily reminder that health care is not a solo act, and the Sloan Program has equipped me with the tools to be a valuable leader and teammate.

BENEFITS OF GETTING AN MHA AT THE BROOKS SCHOOL
Making a Difference
Decisions made by health care executives can help improve life for hundreds, even thousands of people every day. Health care executives have a sense of social mission — they deeply care about the people they work with and serve. Further, our hospitals and health care organizations provide opportunities for those who want to “do well by doing good.”
Career Opportunities
Health care is the largest industry in the U.S., and the second largest employer, with more than 11 million jobs. Virtually all new private sector jobs over the past 5 years came from health care, and the sector continues to grow faster than most other segments.
Engaged Learning Experiences
Formal classes are complemented by a range of practical learning opportunities such as practitioner-led intensive courses, the colloquium series, a summer internship, and the capstone course.
