Public and Nonprofit Management
Brooks MPA students in the Public and Nonprofit Management concentration intend to pursue careers as general managers in the global public or nonprofit sectors. Students develop in-depth skills in public and nonprofit leadership and strategy, budgeting and financial analysis, human resource management, negotiations, organizational behavior, and stakeholder engagement. Specialists in this area develop the skills required to work in federal, state, or local government, as well as in private and nonprofit organizations that interface with government.
