Economic Policy
Brooks MPA students in the Economic Policy concentration develop in-depth skills in economic and financial analysis relevant to public affairs decision-making. This specialization includes forecasting the short and long-term effects of legislation or regulation, the rationale for government intervention in a market economy, and how government and the private sector can work together to address policy challenges. Specialists in this area develop the skills required to work in fields such as commercial regulation, development finance, economic policy analysis and international trade.
