All guidelines and requirements for Undergraduate Academic Honors in the Brooks School can be found in the University Catalog. Upon successful completion of the honors requirements in either track (research or engagement), students will be awarded a Bachelor of Science (BS) or Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree with honors in the major (Honors in Health Care Policy or Honors in Public Policy).

Honors, Research Track

Honors in Research recognizes the highest level of academic achievement in research amongst Brooks School undergraduates.

The deadline for December graduates to apply for the Honors in Research Program is November 15th, the second semester of their junior year. The deadline for May graduates to apply is April 15th, the second semester of their junior year.

Honors, Engagement Track

Honors in Engagement recognizes the highest level of policy engagement amongst Brooks School undergraduates, inside and outside of the classroom.

The deadline for December graduates to self-nominate to be considered for the Honors, Engagement track is November 16th, their last semester before graduation. The deadline for May graduates to self-nominate to be considered is April 16th, their last semester before graduation.
