Brooks MPA students in the Social Policy: Health, Education, and Inequality concentration focus on the design, management, and evaluation of public sector programs across various policy areas, including health, education, child and family policy, housing and urban policy, welfare, and transfer programs. This concentration introduces students to problem formation, identification of policy alternatives, policy implementation, and policy evaluation.  Specialists in this area develop the skills required to work in fields such as education management and policy, health policy, social policy design and evaluation, and social welfare policy. Students in this concentration are also strongly encouraged to take advantage of research, teaching, and engaged learning opportunities available through the Center for Health Equity and the Brooks School’s Sloan Program on Health Administration.
