The Sloan Program in Health Administration will prepare you for a promising and rewarding career in health management for a variety of settings. They include hospitals, long-term care facilities, ambulatory services, pharmaceutical firms, government associations and professional associations.

Two-year Master of Health Administration
The standard degree program is a two-year, 60-credit, non-thesis professional graduate program culminating in a Master of Health Administration (MHA) degree. Your course work will include classes in management, health care delivery and finance, population health, quantitative analysis and methods, law and ethics, accounting, economics, health policy, and strategic management.
Three-Year MHA/MPA Program
A joint MHA/MPA degree option is available for students in the Sloan Program in Health Administration (Sloan) and the MPA Program. This option enables students to complete both degrees in three years while eliminating duplicative course work. The goal of this dual degree program is to enable students to combine training in public administration with training in the tools of management and their applications to health administration, the organization of the health care sector, health policy, and public health.

Five-Year Accelerated BS/MHA Program
Our Accelerated Five-Year BS/MHA is open to Cornell University undergraduate students in specified majors.
