Álvaro Salas-Castro is an expert in behavioral economics, diplomacy, emerging markets, and public-private partnerships with a focus on investment and philanthropy.
Salas-Castro teaches the “Navigating Public-Private Partnerships” course for the Executive MPA program. In addition to his appointment at the Brooks School, he is an affiliate faculty member at Syracuse University’s Maxwell School of Citizenship and Public Affairs and the INCAE Business School in Costa Rica. He currently serves as president and CEO of the Reynolds Foundation.
Salas-Castro received his Ph.D. in Administration, International Affairs, and Public Policy from Syracuse University, a J.D. from Autonomous University of Central America, a Master of Business Administration from INCAE Business School, a Master of Public Administration from Cornell University, and a Bachelor of International Relations from Universidad Latina.
