Congratulations to Professor Sarah Kreps @sekreps on receiving the Veterans Colleague Network Group’s annual Continuation of Service Award, honoring her outstanding contributions to the Cornell veteran community.

Sarah Kreps is the John L. Wetherill Professor in the Department of Government and a professor of public policy.
She is also the director of the Cornell Brooks School Tech Policy Institute @CornellTPI.

Cornell Brooks Tech Policy Institute Releases New Report on AI Regulation
The @CornellTPI, in collaboration with the Jain Family Institute (JFI), has published a new report providing a comprehensive framework for assessing AI regulation.

Sarah Kreps @sekreps, prof. and director of the @CornellTPI, and @AdiRaoCornell, doctoral student and an adjunct at the RAND Corporation, worked together to produce the report as part of a unique fellowship designed to encourage faculty/student collaborations in applied research.
@sekreps and @AdiRaoCornell studied existing and proposed regulatory schemes governing artificial intelligence in order to develop a new theoretical roadmap for U.S. policymakers as they grapple with the promises and potential perils of generative AI.
