MEET KOMALA
Komala Anupindi, Class of 2023, is a Health Care Policy major from Boulder, Colorado. During the fall 2021 semester, she participated in the Cornell in Washington program and interned at the Centers for Disease Control. She participated in public affairs research at the CDC, following bills and monitoring congressional hearings related to the CDC’s work. She has served on the Brooks School Ambassadors and is conducting independent research on the history of Black midwives and the policy implications of maternal morbidity. through the Brooks School Honors Program. In addition, Anupindi has been active in the Cornell Undergraduate Research Board and the Society for India at Cornell. She is currently enrolled in an MPH graduate degree and hopes to pursue a MD, degree.
