She is an alum of Cornell (Class of 2003, BA Economics and Government), University of Oxford (MSc Latin American Studies), University of Pennsylvania (MPA), and Johns Hopkins University School of Advanced International Affairs (Doctor of International Affairs). Her recent book “Venezuelan Negotiations: From Deadlock to Collapse (2014-2024)”, published by Springer in January 2026, discusses why negotiation processes failed to resolve the Venezuelan crisis between 2014 and 2024 and proposes an analytical framework to explain contemporary conflict intractability.
