As a Brooks School undergraduate, you can major in either Public Policy or Health Care Policy. Both majors develop a range of skills – demography, economics, econometrics, mathematics, methods, social sciences, statistics, and writing – to thrive in careers or graduate study. Are SAT/ACT tests required to apply to the Brooks School?
First-year applicants will be required to submit standardized test scores. SAT or ACT scores are neither required nor expected for transfer applicants.
Are AP/IB test credits accepted by the Brooks School?
The Brooks School accepts a maximum of 15 AP/IB credits. More information about the credits currently accepted by the Brooks School can be found on the current student portal. Credits will be awarded according to policies in place at the time the student begins a Brooks program.
Are Brooks School undergraduates charged contract or endowed tuition rates?
The Cornell Jeb E. Brooks School of Public Policy is a hybrid academic unit that partners with contract and endowed colleges to offer undergraduate programs. New York state residents enrolled in Bachelor of Science programs in the Brooks School receive the New York State resident contract college tuition rate.
