The MPA Program Handbook is your manual for navigating the Cornell Brooks School MPA degree program. It outlines the components of the MPA Program curriculum, and details degree requirements and academic standards. It also provides general registration information and course advice.

The program handbook is designed to help you—with the guidance of your faculty advisor—create a program of study that is appropriate to your interests and career aspirations.

Please note that students are required to complete program requirements as defined by the Program Handbook and Course Guide that was published when they matriculated. For example, students beginning their studies in fall semester of 2021 or spring semester of 2022 will be working under the guidelines established in the 2021-22 Handbook. Students who began in the fall of 2020 or spring of 2021 will be working under the 2020-21 MPA Program Handbook.
