Whether you’re passionate about climate change, education reform, economics, or countless other areas of public policy, Cornell University’s Master of Public Administration can help you take the next step in your career. 

By attending our Open House, you’ll learn more about Cornell University’s MPA degree, and you’ll also learn how you can jumpstart your future as a leader in public affairs.  In past years, we’ve held this event exclusively online. In 2022, we’re doing things a little differently. Event attendees can choose to participate in the Open House either in person or virtually!

Are you a veteran or service member looking for a degree that complements your military service and continues your career in public service?

Join our Executive Director, Thomas O’Toole, as he walks you through the MPA and Executive MPA’s interdisciplinary curriculum, hands-on learning opportunities, and career management services in this presentation. This session will also explore Cornell’s proud military tradition, using GI Bill and Yellow ribbon benefits, and our application process.

This webinar is designed specifically for military personnel and veterans who are interested in management and leadership careers in public service.

MPA Admitted Student Day is your chance to discover the value of Cornell University’s Master of Public Administration. You will also have the valuable opportunity to explore ways to jumpstart your future career in public affairs.

Admitted students can choose to participate in the event either in person, virtually, or a mix of both:

Admitted Student Day provides the opportunity to meet with faculty, staff, and current students, learn more about getting an MPA, and tour Cornell’s stunning campus.

Thursday, April 6, 2023 – 4 Next Steps for Admitted Brooks MPA Students to Jump-Start Their Professional Development (Webinar)

Join Millie Reed, Assistant Director of Career Management, as she discusses actionable next steps for future students of the Cornell Brooks School’s Master of Public Administration program. This webinar will provide an overview of the first fall semester at Cornell, where you will update your resume, prepare for internship interviews, start networking, and take PADM 5009 Career Management for Public Affairs. This course prepares MPA students to enter the job market with the expertise and experience to launch a successful career and obtain professional skills necessary to be leaders in the field of public affairs workplace.
